A transaction
Friday, September 23, 2005
In exchange for an intention that was well hidden, you were willing to compromise and sacrifice most of what you could.
When you realised that what you were in for, was actually more than what you could give you scrambled your way to safety.
In the first place, nobody asked for heaven and sky. Those that sticked around thought you could give and they believed in you.
You were digging your own grave in this transaction that you promised, something more than what you could deliver.
Now that you can't don't blame the whole world except yourself.
Don't treat those that believed you with underhand ways when you speak of honour and integrity.
Don't expect everything to run smoothly like how a fish would in water. This is life and you never seem to learn.
In the end, you created a transaction that you can't deliver and yet at the same time, left those that believed in you behind. Flower from concrete jungle _ b l o g g e d _ @ 1:47 AM |
Renee Chua A flower that refuses to let the cement close in on her... she fights her way through to fight for her rights to sunshine and rain...yet never lose her beauty to the weather...
