Game has rules
so that there is competition.

Tennis court without lines
you're never out.

Race without finishing line
you'll never finish.

Game has rules
so there is fairplay.

A winner who wins by cheating
does not compete by skill.

Game has rules
so that there is certainty.

Nobody plays golf with shuttercock
or a basketball with hockey stick

You wanna play the game
you must know the rules.

But some want to play outside the game
beyond the lines
above the rules
and yet beat the players in the game.

The players won't be beaten.
It would just a different game,
with another set of rules.
